And finally, the moment arrived: the celebration of Pizzarias Luzzo’s 10th birthday, at an excitement-packed event attended by our franchisees and some well-known faces.
Exactly 10 years ago, in January 2014, we celebrated the opening of the first Luzzo pizzeria in Santa Marta, Lisbon. Ten years on, our purpose remains the same: to offer customers a unique gastronomic experience, by flawlessly marrying Italian culinary culture to the best of traditional Portuguese cuisine, in dining spaces conducive to sharing good times with family or friends. What we offer is a journey of flavours that spans multiple generations.
Today, there are 26 Luzzo pizzerias in mainland Portugal and we believe we continue to set the pace, thanks to the quality of our products, our cosy dining rooms, and, above all, the warming smile with which we welcome everyone who walks through our doors.
For these, our 10th birthday celebrations, we were proud to be able to count on the presence of the people who really make the brand what it is, every single day: our franchisees.
We were also helped out by such familiar faces as Marta Gil, Ricardo de Sá, Jorge Guerreiro, Catarina Siqueira, Tiago Bandeira, Tomás Taborda, as well as food critics like Lisboa Live and Carlota a Portuguesa.
The evening was livened up by our DJ, from Mufyn Music, who has worked closely with us on all musical aspects of the brand, ever since its very inception.
